About this service

Whether your dog has troubles in the house, at the park, or socialising with other animals, my services cover the A to Z of dog ownership. I will teach you how communicate with your dog but also build and maintain a balanced relationship with your furry friend. In home based dog training, I work in harmony with the entire family.

1.5 hours First lesson : $200*

1 hour On-going lessons : $130*

I also provide a lifelong support. Anywhere and anytime, if you need a quick refresher or have some questions regarding the techniques we discussed during our private lessons, I will be there for you via phone or email.

Boarding training is conducted at my facilities. It is a great option for moderate to severe behavioural issues. It is also beneficial if you don't have the time and patience to follow the retraining process at home. Boarding training is a quicker and more effective way to reach your goal but once your dog returns home, you will still have to follow the new rules and follow up with training to learn all the techniques and to make sure your dog doesn't regress.

Training is about consistency and persistency.

During boarding training, I will cover:

Packages:

Two Weeks Turbo Boarding Training $2800 ($1400/week)

I will focus on socialisation/obedience/basic manners/recal/lead walking.

Basic training is recommended to be qualify for the 2 weeks turbo training. I will focus on socialistation, obedience and/or reactivity.

1.5 hours/day training 6 days/week including 4 hours/week public outing.

1.5 hour hand over lesson included.

Daily updates on your dog's improvements.

Overnight boarding included. 

Owner provides food.

Three Weeks Intense Boarding Training $3600 ($1200/week)

No previous training required. This option is best for moderate to severe behavioral issues (Reactivity, aggression, anxiety, resource guarding etc.). Also, puppy training. The longer the boarding training, the better results you will get.

Socialisation, reactivity, aggression, recall, off lead training, resource guarding etc.

1 hour/day training 6 days/week including 3 hours/week public outing.

3 hours hand over lessons included.

Daily updates on your dog's improvements.

Overnight boarding included. 

Owner provides food.

Extra week no matter the package chosen: $1000/week.

Note: Your dog will be exercised daily with no exceptions. Exercise consists of 30mn walk/run/play in the morning at the local park. I take advantage to work on recall, walk on lead, play ball, socialisation etc.

30mn treadmill/walk in the afternoon. During the day, I will work on the other issues as public outing, obedience, manners etc. Each dog sleeps in a crate/kennel. No dogs over 10 kilos are allowed inside the house unless required for the training. An extra fee will be charges in that case. If your dog is friendly and not an escape artist, he/she will be allowed to be free in the yard once settled in but always under supervision.

Spend time with your best friend learning some new obedience training tips and socialise with other dog lovers in a group lesson. Group lessons are held in various locations around the Brisbane region. Check out my calendar or Facebook page to know where my next available group lesson will be located.

Conditions required:

Basic obedience training (sit, stay, down) and the "Yes word".

Social and calm dog

Doesn't pull on lead (at least being controllable)

Food or Toy driven (if your dog isn't driven by food, there is a technique to help you with this issue)

If your dog doesn't have any basic obedience training or you are not sure if you are eligible or not, please contact me. 

I want everyone to enjoy the lessons and participate, not put on the sideline because of their dog's behavioral issues. Whilst some clients might be in the process of retraining their reactive/aggressive dog, it's more pleasant for them if everyone respects each other space and learning progress.

If you have special needs or any issues with your dog which can't be dealt with at the group session, I will organise a private lesson.

Please bring a chair, some water, a crate if your furry friend needs one and treats/toys.

Flat collars, martingale collars, sliding leads, prong collars or any other collars are accepted. No harnesses. No retractable leads.

Payment must be made via online/bank transfer prior the lesson and will not be refundable if cancelled less than 48h prior the lesson. 

Cancellation policy: If you would like to cancel your session or rebook, please contact me. If the weather isn't on our side, I will postpone the session or process a refund.

Workshop is a quick 2 hours intensive training for dogs and their humans.

• How long a lesson goes for ?

For your first Private lesson it will go up tp 1.5 hours. The following lessons will be up to 1 hour.

• What will be covered in the first lesson ?

​

The first lesson can be at your home or my business place. I would prefer to see your dog behaving in his own environment. You will learn about dog's behaviour and how to communicate with your dog. You will also discover a few tips and tricks to teach your dog Respect. Based on the issues you mentioned during the assessment (pulling on lead, separation anxiety, fearful/dominance aggression, excessive barking etc.), we will work on bringing a structure into your home and teach you the first steps to start retraining your dog with confidence.

• What will be covered during the following lessons ?

​

The following lessons will be about the other issues you might have with your dog that we couldn't cover at our first lessons but also basic obedience training. It's also a follow up to make sure you are still on the right path for your dog's rehabilitation.

• What do I need to do before my first lesson with you ?

​

I like working with dogs when they are a little bit hungry. It makes it easier to train them with food. If you feed your dog in the morning, I will ask you, please to do not feed your dog prior the lesson. Your dog should be fitted with a collar (martingale collar, flat collar, slip lead accepted) and a normal lead. No harnesses and/or stretching leads. Covered footwear.

Online Consultations

• What is an online consultation?

​

An online consultation can be a first meet and greet or a lesson. Consultations go for 25mn and a lesson 45mn via Skype or FaceTime. I will ask you to give me information regarding your dog's behaviour issues and your everyday life. A training plan will be proposed.​

Group Lessons

• Where do you do your group lessons?

​

Group lessons are held in different location around the Brisbane Region. Please check my event page to know where my next lesson will be located and which level it will be.

• Do you do Obedience Training during your lessons?

​

Yes Obedience Training is part of my group lessons. Mainly, my group lessons are about teaching the owners how to train their dog correctly for when they will be on their own.

Boarding Training

• How long my dog will stay with you ?

​

The minimum stay is 2 weeks. The length stay will depend on your dog's issues but also the training plan we have chosen for your dog. Every dog learns at a different pace. Training includes a lot of repetitions of the same exercise until it's learnt by the dog. I would ask you please be patient with your dog. It takes approximatively 3 weeks for a new behaviour to be learnt but it will also depend on the time you will be able to give to your dog once his rehabilitation at my place will be over.

• What do I need to bring ?

​

Just your dog's food, bed and favorite toy. All dogs will be sleeping in crates or in the kennel.

• How many lessons to I need to do with you before I pick up my dog?

​

An hour extensive handover and handler training is included which means: you will be able to come and learn how to handle your dog after his 2 weeks boarding training. If you have chosen the second option, an hour booster session will be included and scheduled 2 weeks after completion, which means: we will catch up in 2 weeks time to see how you and your dog are progressing. Any other follow up lessons are not included.
